why do cats biteWhy do cats bite when they're playful?

My cat Cammi was playful today. She came running up the stairs as fast as lightning and she was making a cute sound. When I scratched her back to make her lick herself, which is cute, she bit me! I didn't know why. I was thinking she was playful or she was mad. Anyone know why cats bite when they're playful?
I can never tell when a cats angry. But they're good for nothing bastards
well it a play full bite my cat does it all the time will be playing then out of the blue she will bite me.
Its all good
i bite when i am playful ;)
Maybe she was just rough housing with you and thought your hand was a toy so she wwhy do cats biteent to bite it without thinking! It sounds like she was having fun though, so I think it was just on accident.

Have a happy holiday with your family and pets! :)
Cats sometimes cant make up their mind. I have 1 cat that will lay on her back begging for a belly rub but once she is happy she tries to bite me because she has had enough playing or belly rub. Sometimes cats will do it to say "Ok im done leave me alone now`(lol) but sometimes they will do that because that is how cats play with each other so she might have bit you because she thought you two would play like 2 cats do.
Because they're evil and awhy do cats bitere actually plotting to kill you. that bite was actually a failed assassination attempt- it was actually aiming for your neck.
All cats have aggression, they understand when you are playing with them, this is one way of playing back.
When cats play, it is actually a learning process for them in case another animal attacks (self-defense). You have to train animals not to bite (not easy) but they can learn. Each respond differently to discipline. Like when we are young children, we touch a hot stove and get hurt so we learn not to touch the stove.
Cats r f u c k i n g evil people
