i bought about 6 month ago my Humax duovision PVR-9200c and it keeps crashing (on/off). I saw that a new software is available and that it takes about 15 min to download it. But i am not sure? Is it really necessary? How is the new software? Has anybody got some bad experihumax receiver software downloadence with it? But my main worry is : must i re-install all the channels or is it automatic? (am on my own and no one to help if it doesn't go well). Can any body help?
Use the menu to restore to factory settings, then do the software update; you need to be connected thumax receiver software downloado your aerial. Then you can reinstall channels; hopefully! Possible that the box is faulty, but you need to try this to find out. If it is only six months old, it will be under warranty, so you can return it for repair or replacement, if necessary.
